An unmatched next-generation solution for safe ultra-high-voltage measurement, delivering your signals accurately to the data-acquisition system.

SE-6000 Series UHV Fiber-Optic Isolation System

— Globally Leading Isolation System

Ideal solution for next-generation UHV safety measurement, transmitting measurement signals precisely to the data acquisition system.

* Uses fiber-optic data transmission up to 200 m, fully isolating high-voltage and electromagnetic-interference environments.

* In high-voltage test environments, the instrument does not need to be floated, ensuring the safety of test personnel and equipment.

* Provides a 100 Mbps Ethernet port for remote control and has a self-calibration function.

* Standard BNC output, usable with any recording device.

* Bandwidth up to 30 MHz (-3 dB), suitable for DC and high-frequency signal measurement.

* Common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) up to 100 dB (80 Hz), enabling more accurate measurement of the true signal than a high-voltage differential probe.

* Provides 10 ranges from ±50 mV to ±50 V for more accurate measurement.

* DC gain accuracy up to ±0.3% (after self-calibration at operating temperature).

* Powered by a manufacturer-supplied rechargeable lithium battery, with up to 30 hours of continuous operation (two batteries required).

* One isolated amplifier receiver can connect to four isolation units, providing an optimal cost-performance solution and reducing capital investment.

* Custom offset function for more precise observation of AC components superimposed on DC signals.

* Selectable 50 Ω or 1 MΩ output termination, for optimal matching to the back-end data acquisition system.

* Switchable 3rd-order 10 MHz low-pass filter to reduce test noise.

* Input up to 100 kV (AC peak, requires a high-voltage probe).

* Use probes to extend the input range. The isolated front-end BNC input supports a wide input range via external probes.

* The standard input capacitance of the SE-6000 allows the use of almost all off-the-shelf high-voltage probes.

Typical Measurement Applications

Application Scenario 1: Ultra-high-voltage pulse isolation testing

High-voltage testing should preferably use a purely battery-powered, fiber-optic-isolated digital system to achieve optimal signal quality and ensure the absolute safety of operators and equipment.

Application Scenario 2: High-speed train isolation testing

High-speed trains consist of a traction unit and multiple carriages; each carriage has an independent inverter. TheSE-6011isolation unit is placed in each carriage and connected via optical fiber toSE-6000host, enabling simultaneous measurement and monitoring at multiple remote points.

Application Scenario 3: Wind power generation isolation testing

In a wind power generation system, the inverter is located at the interface between the wind turbine and the grid and performs the core power conversion and control functions. It is also a weak link in the system that is highly prone to failure; therefore, fault diagnosis of the inverter is particularly important. The nacelle height of wind turbines is often at80meters or more; at this point, reliable and isolated testing over long distances is particularly important.

Application Scenario 4: Power gridGISswitchgear isolation testing

Testing of switchgear is very important for the quality calibration process and for ensuring the withstand capability of components. Therefore, switchgear testing is an application with extremely high requirements, requiring special hardware to obtain highly reliable and high-precision test results. Its main challenges include high-voltage isolation, amplifier drift, noise, electromagnetic interference immunity, and battery power supply.
