Overview

The CPL8100B is a current probe capable of measuring both DC and AC currents.

It can measure currents up to 100A peak (70.7A RMS), and the CPL8100B has a bandwidth of 2MHz (-3dB).

It provides two range switches (10A and 100A settings) to select the appropriate range according to the current magnitude;

It features an auto-zero function, making it easy to use;

It comes with power and low battery voltage indicator lights, as well as an overload alarm sound;

It can be powered by a battery or external power supply, making measurements more convenient;

It has a standard BNC output interface, facilitating connection with oscilloscopes and other devices, and can be connected to a multimeter to measure AC and DC currents using a BNC to dual banana plug adapter.

It is commonly used in power frequency measurements, motor drives, power supplies, and similar applications.
