PMK LILCO Series precision wideband RF current/pulse-current sensor CT, with excellent droop characteristics; a bandwidth up to 60 MHz can accommodate high-transient current measurements such as large-scale scientific electromagnetic pulses, EMC, pulse currents, and surge currents.
The LILCO® Series PMK current transformers have a bandwidth range from mHz to >60 MHz and an input current range from mA to 20 kA, enabling the precise high-bandwidth AC current measurement required for various measurement applications. The current transformers can accurately measure large pulsed or continuous input currents, while electrical shielding between input and output reduces the effect of electromagnetic fields on the output.
Galvanic isolation between input and output allows the LILCO® Series to be used in measurement setups with large potential differences, or in measurement setups where unwanted currents (such as ground loops) occur between input and output.
The BNC output of the LILCO® Series current transformers allows easy connection to various measurement devices, such as oscilloscopes, digitizers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and digital multimeters, using only a standard 50 Ω coaxial cable.
Changing the input termination of the measuring instrument can improve low-frequency performance and enhance I·t capability, and can attenuate the output signal. The LILCO® Series attenuator ATT10BNCS is used to further improve these specifications while maintaining the high-frequency performance of the current transformer.
The LILCO® Series inner diameter (in centimeters) is included in each model:
For example, 13E1000 = 13 mm (0.5''), 26G0100 = 26 mm (1.0''), 52GH010 = 52 mm (2.0''), 58M1000 = 58 mm (2.2''), 89M0100 = 89 mm (3.5'')
All LILCO® current transformers are supplied with a factory calibration certificate.
The dedicated instruction manual for the LILCO Series contains much valuable information regarding the general limitations of current transformer use and how to perform accurate measurements, in a single document.®
The LILCO wideband pulse current transformer probe is a high-performance probe designed specifically for high-frequency current measurement and can operate stably in complex current environments. Its design not only meets the requirements for wideband response and durability, but also shows excellent performance in droop characteristics, I-t saturation curve, and high-temperature resistance. The probe inner diameter range is 13 mm to 89 mm, suitable for the interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment.
Main features:
1. Wideband response
Bandwidth range:0.004 Hz to 60 MHz, capable of quickly responding to changes in current signals, suitable for precise measurement at high frequencies.
Interference immunity: The wideband response design enables the probe to maintain accurate signal transmission in complex current environments.
2. Excellent droop characteristics
Complete waveform reconstruction: After external impact or drop, the probe can still fully reconstruct the true waveform, avoiding signal distortion or data loss.
Impact resistance: Suitable for industrial environments requiring high reliability, such as power grid monitoring, communication systems, etc.
3. Excellent I-t saturation curve
Precise measurement: The probe has goodI-t saturation curve, capable of accurately capturing instantaneous and continuous current values to ensure measurement data accuracy.
Durability:The I-t saturation curve design makes the probe less prone to burnout, reducing the risk of damage under high current or rapidly changing current.
4. Wide test current range
Current range: supportscurrent measurement from mA level to 25 kA level, meeting the measurement requirements of different industrial and electronic equipment.
Multi-scenario applicability: From low current to high current, the probe maintains stable performance and is suitable for power grids, communications, automotive electronics, and other scenarios.
5. Durable and reliable
High-temperature environment adaptability: The probe can operatenormally in high-temperature environments from -55°C to 155°C, suitable for harsh industrial measurement environments.
High-voltage withstand capability: Input voltage up to1250 V, capable of meeting measurement requirements in high-voltage environments.
6. Flexible operation
Inner diameter compatibility: Inner diameter13 mm to 89 mm, meeting the interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment and providing flexible installation options.
The PMK LILCO series holds a place in the market mainly due to its good I-t characteristic curve and low susceptibility to burnout. If you frequently use CTs for measurement and also need to consider probe magnetic saturation, LILCO is the suitable choice.
