PMK LILCO series precision wideband RF current-pulse current sensor CT, with excellent Droop characteristics; a bandwidth up to 60 MHz can accommodate high-transient current measurements such as large-scale scientific electromagnetic pulses, EMC, pulse currents, and surge currents.
The LILCO® series PMK current transformers have a bandwidth range from mHz to >60 MHz and an input current range from mA to 20 kA, enabling the precision high-bandwidth AC current measurement required for various measurement applications. The current transformer can accurately measure large pulsed or continuous input currents, while electrical shielding between input and output reduces the influence of electromagnetic fields on the output.
Current isolation between input and output allows the LILCO® series to be used in measurement setups with large potential differences, or in measurement setups where unwanted currents (such as ground loops) occur between input and output.
The BNC output of the LILCO® series current transformers makes it easy to connect to various measurement devices such as oscilloscopes, digitizers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, digital multimeters, etc., with only a standard 50Ω coaxial cable.
By changing the input termination of the measuring instrument, low-frequency performance and I·t capability can be improved, and the output signal can be attenuated. The LILCO® series ATT10BNCS attenuator is used to further improve these specifications while maintaining the high-frequency performance of the current transformer.
The internal diameter (in centimeters) of the LILCO® series is included in each model:
For example, 13E1000 = 13 mm (0.5''), 26G0100 = 26 mm (1.0''), 52GH010 = 52 mm (2.0''), 58M1000 = 58 mm (2.2''), 89M0100 = 89 mm (3.5'')
All LILCO® current transformers are supplied with a factory calibration certificate.
The dedicated instruction manual for the LILCO series contains much valuable information regarding the general limitations of current transformer use and how to perform accurate measurements, all in a single document.®
The LILCO wideband pulsed current transformer probe is a high-performance probe designed specifically for high-frequency current measurement and can operate stably in complex current environments. Its design not only meets the requirements for wideband response and durability, but also demonstrates excellent performance in droop characteristics, I-t saturation curves, and high-temperature resistance. The probe inner diameter ranges from 13 mm to 89 mm, suitable for the interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment.
Key features:
1. Wideband response
Bandwidth range: 0.004 Hz to 60 MHz, capable of quickly responding to changes in current signals, suitable for accurate measurement at high frequencies.
Interference immunity: The wideband response design enables the probe to maintain accurate signal transmission in complex current environments.
2. Excellent droop characteristics
Complete waveform restoration: After being subjected to external impact or drop, the probe can still completely restore the true waveform, avoiding signal distortion or data loss.
Impact resistance: Suitable for industrial environments requiring high reliability, such as power grid monitoring, communication systems, etc.
3. Excellent I-t saturation curve
Accurate measurement: The probe has a good I-t saturation curve and can accurately capture the instantaneous and continuous values of current, ensuring the accuracy of measurement data.
Durability: The I-t saturation curve design makes the probe more difficult to burn out, reducing the risk of damage under high current or rapidly changing current.
4. Wide test current range
Current range: supports current measurement from mA level to 25 kA level, satisfying the measurement requirements of different industrial and electronic equipment.
Multi-scenario applicability: The probe maintains stable performance from low current to high current and is suitable for power grids, communications, automotive electronics, and other scenarios.
5. Durable and reliable
High-temperature environment adaptability: The probe can operate normally in high-temperature environments from -55℃ to 155℃ and is suitable for harsh industrial measurement environments.
High-voltage withstand capability: Input voltage up to 1250 V, capable of meeting measurement requirements in high-voltage environments.
6. Flexible operation
Inner diameter adaptability: Inner diameter from 13 mm to 89 mm, meeting the interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment and providing flexible installation options.
The PMK LILCO series has gained a market position primarily through its favorable I-t characteristic curve and low susceptibility to burnout. If you frequently use CTs for measurement and must consider probe magnetic saturation, LILCO is the recommended choice.
