The M series high-power coaxial resistors come in 4 different shapes and sizes

High wattage models are standard configurations. The 1M has a wattage of 20 watts, and the 2M has a wattage of 30 watts. Both 1M and 2M housings are equipped with heat sinks.

For the finned models, the 1M wattage is 75 watts, and 2M is 125 watts. The specified wattage is based on large current connections with unrestricted installation.

The casing temperature should not exceed 140°F (60°C).

Additionally, the finned models require an airflow of 100 cubic feet per minute (2.8 cubic meters) through their casing.

The ambient temperature should not exceed 86°F (30°C). When operating above this temperature, the rated power should be correspondingly reduced.
