The M series high-power coaxial resistors come in 4 different shapes and sizes

High wattage models are standard configurations. The 1M has a power rating of 20 watts, and the 2M has a power rating of 30 watts. Both 1M and 2M housings are equipped with heat sinks.

For the finned models, 1M is rated at 75 watts, and 2M at 125 watts. The specified wattage is based on unrestricted installation with high current connections.

The housing temperature should not exceed 140°F (60°C).

In addition, finned models require an airflow of 100 cubic feet per minute (2.8 cubic meters per minute) through their housing.

The ambient temperature should not exceed 86°F (30°C). When operating above this temperature, the rated power should be reduced accordingly.
