Overview

The CPL8100A is a current probe capable of measuring both DC and AC currents. It can measure currents up to 100A peak (70.7A RMS) and has a bandwidth of 600kHz (-3dB). It offers two range settings (10A and 100A), allowing you to choose the appropriate range based on the current level. It features an auto-zero function for easy use, along with power and low battery indicators, and an overload alarm sound. It can be powered by either batteries or an external power supply, making measurements more convenient. The standard BNC output interface makes it easy to connect to an oscilloscope or other devices, and it can be connected to a multimeter to measure AC and DC currents using a BNC to dual banana plug adapter. It is commonly used for power frequency measurements, motor drives, power supplies, and other applications.
