IWATSU SS-280A/SS-280A-H series high-frequency Rogowski current coil probe 1.7 mm for SiC device GaN test A-H high-temperature 150 °C

The SS-280A/SS-280A-H series uses an open flexible coil with a maximum wire diameter of 1.7mm, allowing it to pass through pin tests, suitable for narrow and extremely tight spaces. The coil length is 84mm, which makes it easier to install and use compared to traditional current sensors. It can measure and monitor current online.


The appearance of the SS-280A-H series is basically the same as the SS-280A series, and the range is also similar. The main difference is that the SS-280A-H series is resistant to high temperatures up to 150°C.

It is the only Rogowski coil that can withstand temperatures above 125℃.

Main Features of SS-280A/SS-280A-H Series:

• The probe tip diameter is as small as 1.7mm, allowing direct detection of TO-type MOSFETs and IGBTs used in switch-mode power supplies and other power electronic equipment.

• Has a frequency bandwidth of 30MHz, allowing observation of high-frequency switching waveforms.

• The current measurement range is 30A~30000A, supporting various current measurements, and because it does not saturate magnetically, high current measurements can be safely performed.
