IWATSU SS-285A-H high-temperature-40 to 150 deg 600 A high-frequency Rogowski current coil probe 1.7 mm for SiC device GaN test

The SS-280AH series uses an open-type flexible coil with a maximum wire diameter of 1.7mm, which can pass through pin tests, suitable for narrow and extremely small spaces. The coil length is 84mm. Compared with traditional current sensors, it is easier to install and use, allowing for online current measurement and monitoring.


The SS-280A-H series has an appearance basically identical to the SS-280A series and similar measurement ranges. The main difference is that the SS-280A-H series is resistant to high temperatures up to 150°C.

It is the only Rogowski coil that can withstand temperatures above 125°C.

Main Features of the SS-280A-H Series:

• The tip of the probe is as thin as 1.7mm in diameter, capable of directly probing TO-type MOSFETs and IGBTs used in power electronics equipment such as switched-mode power supplies.

• Frequency bandwidth of 30MHz allows observation of high-frequency switching waveforms.

• Current measurement range from 30A to 30,000A supports a variety of current measurements. Since it does not experience magnetic saturation, it can safely measure large currents.

• Probe applicable temperature range (A-H type temperature range)-40°C ~ 150°C
