Magnelab AC current sensor SCT-3000 transformer 0.333 V voltage output 3 open-loop to 3000 A

The SCT-3000 series split-core current sensors produced by Magnelab are AC current sensors equipped with 4-20 mA output.

This current transformer can convert AC input currents up to 3000 amps into a 0.333-volt output signal.

The SCT-3000 offers various rated current specifications, up to 3000 amps.

To accommodate larger conductors, its opening diameter reaches 3 inches.

These AC current sensors are particularly suitable for existing electrical systems, as installation can be completed simply by clipping around the existing conductor, making operation safe and convenient.

This model also features a self-locking mechanism, further enhancing safety and ease of use, mainly applied in data logging, energy management, power monitoring, and cost allocation areas.

Similar to other current sensing transformers designed by Magnelab, such as the SCT-0400 split-core current transformer rated at 75 amps,

the SCT-3000 has the following features:

Rated input current up to 3000 amps, output 0.333 volts;

Linear accuracy ±1% within 10%-130% of rated current;

Phase angle less than 0.2 degrees at rated current;

Operating frequency range: 50-400 Hz.

Standard configuration includes 8-foot twisted pair leads, with bare wire voltage rating up to 600 volts.
