The Pearson attenuator can be used with almost all Pearson current transformers,
the most commonly used attenuator model is the Pearson A10, which has a voltage attenuation ratio of 1:10,
and can reduce the output voltage of the CT by a factor of 10, thereby preserving the full waveform output of the CT
. The input and output of the attenuator are symmetrical, both using 50-ohm BNC connectors at the input and output ends.
The Pearson A10 attenuator can be used with all standard Pearson current probes (except model 2093) to reduce the signal output voltage by a factor of 10.
It retains all maximum ratings for these models. The attenuator is symmetrical and can be used in either direction.
