PEM Rogowski coil CWTUM-F conductor diameter 1.2 mm type PCB TO-220 device test

Brand: PEM

Origin: UK

CWTUM-F 1.2 mm cross-section diameter, current 60 A-12KA, high-frequency bandwidth HF (-3dB)20 MHz, coil length 55
Overview

Broadband AC current probes with BNC output are connected to most types of oscilloscopes or data acquisition devices.

CWTUM-F (1.2 mm thick) and the electrostatic shielded version, CWTUMHF-F (1.7 mm thick), are an extension of the original CWT Ultra-mini

from PEM, and the novel mechanical construction can reduce the overall size

of the Rogowski coil. Therefore, the probe produces impact testing for circuits, which simplifies measurements in dense power electronics circuits region.

main features:

  • new "fork" structure, coil length 55mm.

  • Wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.

  • Current
  • rating from 60A to 12kA.

  • Coil insulation rating 1.2kV peak.

  • Peak di/dt capability up to 100kA/S.

  • Thin version with a 1.2mm cross-sectional diameter. HF (-3dB) 20MHz

  • shielded "HF" version, with a 1.7mm cross-sectional diameter in cross-sectional area. Excellent voltage tolerance HF(-3dB) 30MHz

Application field:

  • Switching current waveforms in power electronics circuits:

  • MOSFET or IGBT devices, small sizes down to TO-220, D2PAK, and other SMT power devices

  • to measure power loss on semiconductor bonding lines in power devices.

  • Monitors current in small inductors, capacitors, lightning protection circuits, etc.

  • Measuring low AC currents (such as monitoring capacitor ripple) in

  • the presence of large DC
  • currents. Development and diagnosis of power converters.

  • Measuring power frequency from high-frequency sine, pulse, or transient currents in RF applications
