PMK LILCO series precision wideband RF current/pulse current sensor CT, with excellent droop characteristics; bandwidth up to 60 MHz can accommodate high-transient current measurements such as large-scale scientific electromagnetic pulses, EMC, pulse currents, and surge currents.
The LILCO® series PMK current transformers have a bandwidth range from mHz to >60 MHz and an input current range from mA to 20 kA, enabling the precision high-bandwidth AC current measurement required for various measurement applications. The current transformers can accurately measure large pulsed or continuous input currents, while electrical shielding between input and output reduces the influence of electromagnetic fields on the output.
Galvanic isolation between input and output enables the LILCO® series to be used in measurement setups with large potential differences, or setups where unwanted currents (such as ground loops) occur between input and output.
The BNC output of the LILCO® series current transformers allows easy connection to various measurement instruments, such as oscilloscopes, digitizers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and digital multimeters, using only a standard 50 Ω coaxial cable.
By changing the input termination of the measurement instrument, low-frequency performance and enhanced I·t capability can be improved, and the output signal can be attenuated. The LILCO® series ATT10BNCS attenuator is used to further improve these specifications while maintaining the high-frequency performance of the current transformer.
The inner diameter (in cm) is included in each LILCO® series model number:
For example, 13E1000 = 13 mm (0.5''), 26G0100 = 26 mm (1.0''), 52GH010 = 52 mm (2.0''), 58M1000 = 58 mm (2.2''), 89M0100 = 89 mm (3.5'')
All LILCO® current transformers are supplied with a factory calibration certificate.
The dedicated instruction manual for the LILCO series contains much valuable information on the general limitations of using current transformers and how to perform accurate measurements, in a single document.®
The LILCO wideband pulse current transformer probe is a high-performance probe designed for high-frequency current measurement and can operate stably in complex current environments. Its design not only meets the requirements for wideband response and durability, but also demonstrates excellent performance in droop characteristics, I-t saturation curves, and high-temperature resistance. The probe inner diameter ranges from 13 mm to 89 mm, suitable for interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment.
Main features:
1. Wideband response
Bandwidth range: 0.004 Hz to 60 MHz, capable of rapidly responding to changes in current signals, suitable for accurate measurement at high frequencies.
Anti-interference capability: The wideband response design enables the probe to maintain accurate signal transmission in complex current environments.
2. Excellent droop characteristics
Complete waveform reproduction: After external impact or dropping, the probe can still fully reproduce the true waveform, avoiding signal distortion or data loss.
Impact resistance: Suitable for industrial environments requiring high reliability, such as power grid monitoring and communication systems.
3. Excellent I-t saturation curve
Accurate measurement: The probe has a good I-t saturation curve, capable of accurately capturing instantaneous and continuous current values, ensuring the accuracy of measurement data.
Durability: The I-t saturation curve design makes the probe more difficult to burn out, reducing the risk of damage under high currents or rapidly changing currents.
4. Wide test current range
Current range: supports current measurement from the mA level to the 25 kA level, meeting the measurement requirements of various industrial and electronic equipment.
Multi-scenario applicability: from low current to high current, the probe maintains stable performance, making it suitable for power grid, communications, automotive electronics and many other scenarios.
5. Durable and reliable
High-temperature adaptability: the probe operates normally in high-temperature environments from -55 °C to 155 °C, suitable for harsh industrial measurement environments.
High-voltage withstand capability: input voltage up to 1250 V, meeting measurement requirements in high-voltage environments.
6. Flexible operation
Inner diameter options: inner diameter 13 mm to 89 mm, meeting the interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment and providing flexible mounting options.
The PMK LILCO series has established its place in the market mainly through its favorable I-t characteristic curve and its resistance to burnout. If you frequently use CTs for measurement and must also consider probe magnetic saturation, LILCO is your best choice.
