PMK LILCO series precision wideband RF current–pulse current sensor CT, with excellent droop characteristics; a bandwidth up to 60 MHz makes it suitable for high-transient-current measurements such as large-scale scientific electromagnetic pulses, EMC, pulse currents, and surge currents.
The LILCO® series PMK current transformers have a bandwidth range from mHz to >60 MHz and an input current range from mA to 20 kA, enabling the precision high-bandwidth AC current measurement required for various measurement applications. The current transformer can accurately measure large pulse or continuous input currents, while electrical shielding between input and output reduces the influence of electromagnetic fields on the output.
Galvanic isolation between input and output allows the LILCO® series to be used in measurement setups with large potential differences, or in setups where unwanted current (e.g., ground loops) occurs between input and output.
The BNC output of the LILCO® series current transformers makes it easy to connect to various measurement devices with only a standard 50 Ω coaxial cable, such as oscilloscopes, digitizers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, digital multimeters, etc.
By changing the input termination of the measurement instrument, low-frequency performance and I·t capability can be improved, and the output signal can be attenuated. The LILCO® series ATT10BNCS attenuator is used to further improve these specifications while maintaining the high-frequency performance of the current transformer.
The LILCO® series inner diameter (in centimeters) is included in each model:
For example, 13E1000 = 13 mm (0.5''), 26G0100 = 26 mm (1.0''), 52GH010 = 52 mm (2.0''), 58M1000 = 58 mm (2.2''), 89M0100 = 89 mm (3.5'')
All LILCO® current transformers are supplied with a factory calibration certificate.
The dedicated LILCO series instruction manual contains much valuable information on the general limitations of using current transformers and how to perform accurate measurements, all in a single document.®
The LILCO wideband pulse current transformer probe is a high-performance probe designed specifically for high-frequency current measurement and can operate stably in complex current environments. Its design not only meets the requirements for wideband response and durability but also demonstrates excellent performance in droop characteristics, I-t saturation curves, and high-temperature resistance. The probe inner diameter ranges from 13 mm to 89 mm, suitable for the interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment.
Main features:
1. Wideband response
Bandwidth range: 0.004 Hz to 60 MHz, capable of responding quickly to changes in current signals, suitable for precise measurement at high frequencies.
Interference immunity: The wideband response design enables the probe to maintain accurate signal transmission in complex current environments.
2. Excellent droop characteristics
Complete waveform reconstruction: After external impact or drop, the probe can still fully reconstruct the true waveform, avoiding signal distortion or data loss.
Impact resistance: Suitable for industrial environments requiring high reliability, such as power grid monitoring, communication systems, etc.
3. Excellent I-t saturation curve
Precise measurement: The probe has a good I-t saturation curve and can accurately capture the instantaneous and continuous values of current, ensuring the accuracy of measurement data.
Durability: The I-t saturation curve design makes the probe more difficult to burn out, reducing the risk of damage under high current or rapidly changing current.
4. Wide test current range
Current range: supports current measurement from mA level to 25kA level, meeting the measurement needs of different industrial and electronic equipment.
Multi-scenario applicability: from low current to high current, the probe maintains stable performance and is suitable for power grids, communications, automotive electronics, and other scenarios.
5. Durable and reliable
High-temperature environment adaptability: the probe operates normally in high-temperature environments from -55℃ to 155℃, suitable for harsh industrial measurement environments.
High-voltage withstand capability: input voltage up to 1250V, meeting measurement requirements in high-voltage environments.
6. Flexible operation
Inner diameter adaptability: inner diameter 13mm~89mm, meeting the interface requirements of different circuit boards or equipment and providing flexible installation options.
PMK's LILCO series has established a market position mainly due to its good I-t characteristic curves and resistance to burnout. If you frequently use CT for measurement and must consider probe magnetic saturation, LILCO is your ideal choice.
