ADA400A differential preamplifier allows direct measurement of very low amplitude voltages and floating signals (not referenced to ground) using an oscilloscope. Both input terminals have high impedance, so no additional grounding is required in the DUT, avoiding interference with measurements or circuit ground loops.

ADA400A

The ADA400A differential preamplifier features high gain and extremely high common-mode rejection, allowing it to measure voltages as low as 5 μV even in high-noise environments. Optional bandwidth limiting can reduce normal-mode noise from digital logic, switching power supplies, and line-frequency sources. Adjustable differential offset allows the user to eliminate sensor bridge offsets and potentials in the test setup. An "infinite impedance" mode can be selected in the two highest gain ranges for precise measurement of signals with high source impedance.
