The P6245 active field-effect transistor (FET) probe enables high-speed signal acquisition by addressing three traditional problems:

• Lower DUT loading (≤1 pF/1 MΩ probe loading)

• Easy direct access to SMDs

• Access to DUT signals and oscilloscope bandwidth up to 1 GHz on TDS600/700/3000/5000/6000/7000* 1and DUT signals and oscilloscope bandwidth of CSA7000 oscilloscopes

The P6245 and P6243 active probes deliver the electrical and mechanical performance required by today's digital system designs.When used with a TEKPROBE BNC oscilloscope, no additional power supply or cable is required.Both the P6245 and P6243 achieve high-speed signal acquisition and low circuit loading, addressing the problems designers face today.

The compact probes and versatile accessories allow direct connection to the device under test.

The P6245 and P6243 active probes provide oscilloscope bandwidth at the probe tip for TDS500/600/700; the P6243 provides oscilloscope bandwidth up to 1 GHz at the probe tip for TDS3000 series oscilloscopes.

P6243

The P6243 active FET probe is a high-performance probing solution for 500 MHz oscilloscopes. The P6243 has a probe bandwidth of 1 GHz and provides 500 MHz system bandwidth when used with the full line of Tektronix 500 MHz oscilloscopes. In addition, the P6243 is powered by the TEKPROBE BNC interface, requiring no additional power supply or cable when used with TEKPROBE BNC oscilloscopes.

Compared with passive probes with much higher capacitive loading, the P6243 provides superior signal acquisition on surface-mount devices.The P6243 has ≤1 pF capacitive loading, enabling it to measure high-speed signals without affecting the signal or device under test.In addition, the included accessories and adapters allow easy connection to SMDs.
