Differential probes – a better measurement tool

Differential active probes provide more realistic signal reproduction and fidelity for high-frequency measurements. With ultra-low input capacitance and universal device-under-test connectivity, the TDP1500 and TDP3500 differential active probes deliver the excellent high-speed electrical and mechanical performance required by today's digital system designs.

The TDP1500 and TDP3500 differential probes are specifically designed for use with and direct connection to oscilloscopes with the TekVPI™ probe interface, achieving high-speed signal acquisition and measurement fidelity by addressing the following three traditional problems:

  • DUT loading effects – reduced through low input capacitance and high input resistance

  • DUT connectivity – various accessories are available for connecting small SMDs, some standard and some recommended for use

  • System (oscilloscope and probe) bandwidth maximization – probing solutions for all measurements on TekVPI interface oscilloscope models up to 3.5 GHz
