The Keysight N7040A Rogowski coil current probe is designed to measure AC currents up to 3,000 A, with a bandwidth of 3 Hz to 23 MHz. This probe is very easy to use because it features a slim, lightweight, flexible, and easy-to-use clamp-type Rogowski coil, which allows current measurements in tight spaces and hard-to-reach parts of the circuit under test. It can also measure large AC currents without the need for larger sensors.

The N7040A series is ideal for measuring AC currents superimposed on large DC currents and can be used for designing and debugging power semiconductor circuits, power supplies, inverters, and motors, as well as for fault diagnosis. These probes come with an AC power adapter and 4 AA batteries to power the probe. They can be used with any Keysight Technologies oscilloscope with a 1 MΩ BNC input interface.
