Overview

PS00xxA Optical Isolated Differential Probes and Accessories provide streamlined, safe, and isolated insight information.

Electrical isolation voltage probes separate the device under test (DUT) from the oscilloscope.

This grounding enables safer and more precise measurements. This isolation effectively eliminates interference.

Common-mode signals, minimizing noise interference, and eliminating ground loops in high-voltage systems.

Environments. High common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is crucial for capturing small signals.

Accuracy is ensured, even in the presence of large common-mode voltages on floating nodes.

The sensitivity of isolated probes can be over 100 million times higher than standard differential voltage probes.

Referenced to earth ground.

In addition to high CMRR and enhanced safety, isolated probes offer extra advantages over standard differential probes. Their isolation characteristics make them less susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Reducing signal distortion. Additionally, Keithley’s isolated probes support higher offset voltages.

The larger differential voltage range at higher bandwidths ensures accurate measurements during fast switching.

Signals and transient phenomena in noisy, high common-mode environments.

Applications

Isolated probes offer significant advantages across multiple industries and applications. Most commonly used in power electronics full-bridge and half-bridge architectures, they improve efficiency and performance.

Testing fast-switching devices like wide-bandgap GaN and SiC semiconductors. Supporting high-voltage differential measurements up to ±2,500 V with the ability to reject common-mode signals up to ±60,000 V, isolated probes play a key role in automotive electric vehicle (EV) testing and photovoltaic solar power conversion.
