PMK active AC/DC voltage probe SONIC 4000 high-frequency high- 4 GHz/+/-20V

Brand: PMK

Origin: Germany

4 GHz/+/-20V, AC/DC voltage, high-impedance, low-noise, high- input impedance loading effect
Overview

The Sonic® 4000 Active probe has top-notch performance and is easy to use for in-circuit measurements.

The Sonic® 4000's DC to >4 GHz, high, low, and ±8V dynamic range makes it the ideal choice for any oscilloscope or other 50Ω measurement systems.

The ±12V input offset capability of the Sonic® 4000 extends the input voltage range of probe.

A 2 MΩ parallel input capacitance of less than 0.6 pF between the probe tip and the probe reference (oscilloscopegrounding1 MΩ) provides the highest impedance among similar products,

Allows probing of sensitive circuits without imposing an adverse load on the circuit under test.

PMK Sonic is a high-performance active probe, specifically designed for high-frequency and high impedance measurements. It has excellent performance and flexibility, making it the choice of many high-precision measurement.

Key features:

1. Good high-frequency measurement capability

Sonicprobe has a high bandwidth (DC->4GHz) and relatively high input impedance (2MΩ), enabling precise measurements in high-frequency circuits, suitable for high-speed signal analysis and debugging. Its low impedance characteristics help reduce measurement errors and improve signal quality.

2. Precise DC Measurement

probeProvides 2% DCaccuracy, capable of providing highaccuracy voltage readings in DC measurements. Its dynamic input range is ±8V, up to a maximum of 20V, making it suitable for various measurement scenarios, including capturing dynamic voltage waveforms.

3. Enter offset (bias) function

Through a ±12V input bias, users can perform calibration on probe during measurements, eliminating the DC bias effect of the measurement circuit and ensuring measurement accuracy. This function is especially suitable for complex circuits that require high-precision measurement.

4. Software Control

The parameters of Sonicprobe (such as bias voltage, input resistance, etc.) can all be controlled through software, providing high flexibility and configuration possibilities. Users can adjust the parameters of probe through software according to specific needs.

5. Analysis of Application Scenarios

Suitable for the measurement and analysis of high-frequency signals, such as in high-speed digital circuits, radio frequency circuits, and communication systems.

Suitable for power supply debugging, circuit analysis, and voltage component measurement.

Suitable for scenarios such as power modulation and modulation signal analysis.

In addition, Sonic also has a model called Sonic RFprobe, the difference from Sonic is that the bandwidth of Sonic RF is 220Hz->4GHz, and it cannot measure DC voltage, while other parameters are basically the same as Sonic.

The PMK Sonic active probe, with its high-frequency performance, high impedance, precise DC measurement, and software control functions, has become a premium choice for high-performance measurement tools. Whether it is high-frequency signal analysis, DC voltage measurement, or complex circuit debugging, the Sonic probe can meet users' measurement needs with its outstanding performance and flexibility. Through its high accuracy and versatility, the Sonic probe helps users achieve more efficient and accurate measurement work.

The Sonic® 4000 active probe offers the best performance in its class, is easy to use, and allows in-circuit measurements.

DC to >4GHz bandwidth, high input impedance, low noise, and ±8V dynamic range make the Sonic 4000 the ideal probe head for any oscilloscope or other 50Ω measurement system.

The ±12V input offset capability of the Sonic® 4000 expands the input voltage range of the probe.

Input capacitance

Allows scanning of sensitive circuits. Will not adversely affect the circuits being inspected.

The offsets of the Sonic series can be set through an external interface, requiring the corresponding PMKpower supply.
