T3RC Roche Coil Current Probe
Teledyne T Roche Current Probe offers a wide range of products covering a wide frequency span and current measurement range for
maximum application coverage, while being easy to use in hard-to-reach circuit sections.
The flexibility of the probe induction coil means measurements can usually be taken without modifying the circuit under test, providing more accurate results while maintaining isolation.
Theprobe inserts a very low load, only a few pHs.
Operating with batteries and external power means the T Roche current probe works as easily in the field as it does on a workbench.
The T3RC0300-UM and T3RC0120-UM induction coils have the smallest cross-sectional area among our probes, measuring only 1.7 millimeters.
This is ideal for embedded power applications, whereprobing is needed around branches of power components such as
inductors, capacitors, or small switchgear as small as TO220 MOSFETs
.The T3RC0600-HF and T3RC3000-HF are general-purpose Roche probes, covering applications up to 600 amps and 3000 amperes respectively.
With extended high-frequency coverage, 5 kV peak insulation, and a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, they are ideal for general and high-temperature environments.
The T3RC3000-LF and T3RC6000-LF Roche probes provide extended low-frequency performance as low as below 1 Hz.
Low-frequency performance means the maximum voltage drop of the low-frequency pulse is typically 0.1%/ms or less, while providing our highest level of peak insulation of 10 kV
and a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +100°C.
The T3RC0060-LF is our most sensitive Roche probe, with a maximum measurement range of 60 amps, an insulation voltage of 2 kV, and an operating temperature range of -20C to +100C.
Main features:
> 7 different probes, covering a wide range of applications.
Maximum current measurement range up to 6000 A.
Maximum voltage insulation up to 10 kV peak.
Uses external power supply or battery.
Low load for the circuit under test.
wide coil operating temperature range for UM and HF probes is -40°C to +125
the LF probe covers -20°C to +100°C.
No DUT modification is required for use.
Oscilloscope Compatibility:
Teledyne T Roche probes are compatible with all Teledyne T oscilloscopes as well as Teledyne LeCroy oscilloscopes.
The Teledyne T1 Roche probe has simple connection requirements, namely a BNC input with MOhm impedance. Therefore, these probes will be compatible with most oscillos on the market.
By using the oscilloscope's attenuation function to readjust the channel's vertical range, the probe is easier to use.
Application Area:
Component-level design and development, such as semiconductor switching waveforms in MOSFETs or IGBTs, as well as capacitor and inductor devices.
design and development of power converters for motor-driven wind and other renewable energy
in hybrid and fully electric transportation systems (automotive, rail, maritime, etc
Research and development.
Long-term system monitoring and maintenance
