Magnelab AC current sensor SCT-2000 transformer 2.0 rated 1500 A

The SCT-2000 series are highly regarded Class 2 transformers from Magnelab.

This series of split-core current sensors can convert AC input currents of up to 1500 amperes into a 0.333-volt output signal,

with openings that can accommodate conductors up to 2 inches in diameter. The product is designed for already installed circuits and can be easily snapped onto existing conductors.

For enhanced safety, all SCT devices are equipped with a self-locking mechanism, commonly used in data logging, energy management, power monitoring, and cost allocation applications.

Similar to the SCT-0750 split-core current transformer rated for 200 amperes,

the SCT-2000 has multiple features:

Linear accuracy of ±1% within the rated current range of 10%-130%,

ensuring that calculated values accurately reflect actual operating conditions;

Phase angle less than 2 degrees at 50% of rated current;

Operating frequency range of 50-400 Hz.

The standard configuration includes 8-foot twisted leads, with bare conductor voltage rating up to 600 volts. This product is fully UL certified and complies with CE and RoHS standards.
