The differential amplification principle of a high-voltage differential probe refers to a pair of signals being input into an amplification circuit simultaneously and then subtracted to obtain the original signal.
A differential amplifier is an amplifier composed of two transistors with identical parameter characteristics and directly coupled.
If signals of equal amplitude and the same phase are input to both input terminals, the output is zero, thereby overcoming zero drift.
Typical applications of high-voltage differential probes:
Dynamic parameter measurement of SiC and GaN semiconductors
Evaluation of power supply system switching parameters
Floating ground voltage measurement of high-voltage inverters
Electric & hybrid vehicle electric drive systems
High-energy physics research

Notes:
a. The supplied voltage must be less than 10V and greater than 4.5V, otherwise the probe could be damaged or can’t be operated properly.
b. Polarity is “+” inside and “-” outside. For wrong polarity, built-in circuit protects the probe, no danger or damage will occur.
c. When the voltage of the cells become too low, the power indicator on the panel will flicker.
