History

CIC Research has served the test-and-measurement market for decades, developing current probe families that cover wide frequency spans for conducted-EMC work as well as general-purpose AC/DC measurement. Its products found particular acceptance in EMC laboratories, where calibrated current probes are used for interference diagnostics and filter evaluation on power lines and signal cables.

Strengths

The product philosophy is practical: stable transfer characteristics, honest bandwidth specifications, and designs that tolerate daily laboratory use. Transfer-impedance data is supplied for EMC probe models so that measurements can be converted directly into dBµA.
