Pomona Electronics

California, USA · Part of Fluke
Company Overview
Pomona Electronics, part of the Fluke group, is a long-established American maker of test accessories: probe kits, test leads, alligator clips, coaxial cables, adapters and patching systems. For decades Pomona parts have been the quiet standard on laboratory benches, providing safe, dependable connections between instruments and devices under test.
History
Founded in California in the mid-twentieth century, Pomona grew with the electronics industry by specialising in connectivity: precision-machined clips, moulded lead assemblies and BNC hardware with honest ratings. Its black-and-red test leads and banana plugs are among the most recognised accessories in the industry, and the range has expanded into oscilloscope probe kits and high-frequency cable assemblies.
Strengths
Pomona's value lies in quality at the point of contact: gold-plated contacts, strain-relieved mouldings, precise mechanical tolerances and safety ratings that users can trust at the bench. The catalogue is exceptionally complete, so almost any connection task — from millivolt probes to kV test leads — has a ready-made, documented solution.
