History

Keysight's roots reach back to Hewlett-Packard, founded in 1939, whose instrumentation business became Agilent Technologies in 1999. In 2014 the electronic measurement portion was spun off as Keysight. The company has since combined the classic HP measurement heritage — precision, calibration discipline, instrument-grade probing — with modern software-centric workflows across design, emulation and test.
