Company Overview
Fluke Corporation, headquartered in Everett, Washington, is the world's leading maker of handheld electrical test tools. Founded in 1948, the company built its name on rugged digital multimeters and expanded into thermal imaging, power quality, calibration and industrial diagnostics — instruments trusted daily by electricians, technicians and engineers in nearly every industry.
History
Fluke's breakthrough came with the first rugged handheld digital multimeter, which set the template for the modern DMM. The company grew steadily through acquisitions (including Pomona and, within the Fortive group, numerous calibration brands), always centred on portable measurement quality, safety and durability. Fluke instruments are famous for surviving drops, overloads and decades of service.
Strengths
Safety and reliability are the brand's core: CAT III/CAT IV-rated inputs, strict quality control and lifetime-oriented design. The current clamp and probe accessories integrate with Fluke meters and scopes, and its calibration products (through associated brands) support laboratories. A worldwide service network backs every instrument.
