History

Founded in 1964 as LeCroy Research Systems, the company built high-energy-physics instrumentation before turning to digital oscilloscopes. LeCroy introduced long-memory architectures that allowed complete records of complex events to be captured and analysed, and its serial-data and power-analysis packages became benchmarks. In 2012 the company joined Teledyne, extending its reach into high-speed acquisition and sensors.

Strengths
